OCR: The Secret to the Magic Square The numbers on the Magic Square seem to be laid out randomly, but they really aren't. Actually, for each layout, no matter which numbers you choose, the total will be the same. Here's how you can make your own Magic Square: First, come up with a two-digit number, preferably higher than thirty. Put the first digit in the upper left-hand corner square of your grid. Put the second digit in the lower right-hand corner. Now, think of two numbers that add up to the first digit (e.g ., if your number is 59, 2 and 3 would work).
